Tring Community Centre

Volunteers

Tring Community Centre is managed by Tring Community Association and offers local people of all ages a perfect venue for meeting people, enjoying activities and learning new skills.

Our well presented Main Hall (holds up to 190 people standing and up to 100 seating) is ideal for a variety of events including Keep Fit, Irish Dancing, Martial Arts and Bingo to mention just a few. The hall also has the flexibility to be partitioned to allow two activities to take place at the same time. A small grassed area is also available outside the main hall.

In addition to our main hall we have a carpeted smaller hall which can be used for meetings or  smaller activities.

With most bookings we also offer use of our well equipped main kitchen, including crockery, cutlery and water urn. Plenty of tables and chairs (including children sized) are also available. Access is good and we have a large car park at the front of the Centre.

Volunteers are essential to Tring Community Centre and we are grateful for their support with most of our activities.

Many people volunteer to keep themselves active or to gain valuable experience and skills, but the main reason for getting involved is because voluntary work is fun!

The Centre’s staff are there to help and support volunteers and can help with advice on available grants, fund raising, insurance, recruiting volunteers, organising events and so on.
